| The open/hands-on evenings will be held in the village hall on the LAST Thursday of each month. 1900-2100. Several small lathes will be available for use. Sharpening problems/advice will be dealt with by an available member. Problems can be discussed and possibly solved. Equipment advice. Very informal. Non members are welcome to come and give woodturning a "try before you buy." | Shorne Woods Country Park near Gravesend on Sunday 18th April 2010. The main theme of the fair is wood and woodcrafts. The club hope to present a demonstration if everything comes together. If you wish to have a stall at the fair then it will be in the first floor room in the visitor centre, tables are approximately 5ft x 2ft and are free of charge. |
Rolly Munro Woodturning Workshop: Tue 27 April Rolly Munro is coming to the UK from New Zealand - as part of this trip he will be visiting each of our stores where he will be demonstrating his woodturning skills. These free demonstrations, will feature his unique woodturning style. Rolly will be on hand to discuss the Munro tools, and questions on his turning style.
